It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth, (Ken) of Shap, peacefully, at Penrith Hospital, on Friday, 13^th February, a much loved brother, uncle, cousin and good friend to many. Aged 80 years. His warm hearted wit and wisdom will be sadly missed. Service and cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium on Tuesday, 3^rd March at 12.30 pm. Peacefully at home in Sebergham on Monday 16th February, Richard Mandale (Dick) dearly loved husband of Sylvia, much loved dad of David and Alison, father-in-law of Wendy and Nick and devoted grandad of Aoife and Eilidh. Richard was also a much loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Aged 80 years.  Funeral service at Eden Valley Crematorium on Monday 2nd March at 12.30. Family flowers only. Christine Mary Teresa: Peacefully, at Ruby Lodge Care Home, Thirsk, on Wednesday, 11^th February. Aged 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Michael, loving mother of Nicholas, Rachael, Rebecca and Michele, proud grandmother of her 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Requiem Mass at Our Lady of the Lakes and St. Charles RC Church, Keswick, on Friday, 27th February at 2.00 pm followed by interment at St. James' Churchyard, Uldale. All friends welcome. Sadly, at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday 8^th February, Bernard of Penrith, dearly loved husband of Jean, much loved dad of Kirsty and Eleanor, loving grandad of Nikole, Ryan, Joey and Reuben and great-grandad of Noah. Professor Michael Alan: Peacefully, in his sleep in the Eden Valley Hospice, Carlisle, on Tuesday, 10^th February. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St. Catherine’s RC Church, Penrith at 12.00 noon on Tuesday, 24^th February followed by a private cremation. Peacefully, at Riverwell Beck Nursing Home, Carlisle on Sunday, 1^st February, Doreen Teresa of Penrith, beloved wife of the late George, dear mum of Gayle, Bridget and Giles, mother-in-law of Barry, Stuart and Caroline, very proud nana of Caven, Antonia, Arabella, Cole, Leonie, Amelia and Evie and a loving sister and sister-in-law. Aged 92 years. Service at St. Catherine's Church, Penrith on Wednesday, 18^th February at 12.00 noon followed by interment in Penrith Cemetery.
