Peacefully, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Thursday, 15th February, Edward (Ted) of Wordsworth Street, Penrith, much loved husband of the late Angie, beloved father of Cath, Chris and the late Louise. Aged 84 years. Service and interment at St. Andrew’s Church, Greystoke on Wednesday, 13th March at 2.00pm. Peacefully, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Thursday, 22nd February, Henry (Harry), former physics teacher and fell runner, of Frenchfield Way, Penrith, a dearly loved husband of Eileen, much loved father of David and the late Heather, sadly missed father-in-law, brother, and a good friend and mentor to many. Aged 86 years. Service at St. Andrew’s Church, Penrith, on Monday, 11th March at 11.00am, followed by interment at Penrith Cemetery. Please feel free to wear bright colours. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee on Friday, 23rd February, Betty of Sand Croft, Penrith, beloved wife of the late Donald, dearly loved mam and mother-in-law of Susan, Derek, Lynda and Stephen, a devoted and proud grandma and great-grandma. Aged 94 years. Service and cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium on Wednesday, 6th March at 2.00 pm. Peacefully, at home in Hunsonby on Wednesday 14th February, Aged 96 Years. Keith, is survived by Vivian his wife of 72 years, four children, ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
