Peacefully, in the presence of her loving family at Croft Avenue Care Home, Penrith on Monday 19th May, Mary (formerly of Catterlen, Penrith,) wife of the late George William. Aged 87 years. Mary will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Service and interment at St. James' Church, Hutton-in-the-Forest on Tuesday, 3rd June at 11.00 am. Peacefully, after a few difficult months, on Monday 19th May, Gareth James of Penrith, aged 60 years. Beloved husband of Deana, loving son of Anne and the late Mike, adored brother of Sara and Julie, brother-in-law of Dave and Colin, uncle of Beth, George, Rebecca and Toby, great uncle to Jake, and a friend to many. A service of love and celebration of his life will be held at Christ Church on Monday 2nd June at 11.00am followed by interment at Penrith Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Peacefully, at Millfield Care Home, Keswick on Monday, 12th May, Joseph (Alan) of Penrith, beloved husband of the late Lena, dearly loved dad of Stephen and Jacque, grandfather and "GG". Aged 92 years. Service at St. Andrew's Church, Penrith on Thursday, 29th May at 11.00 am followed by interment at Penrith Cemetery. Suddenly, but peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Sunday, 11th May, Alan of Fell Lane, Penrith, beloved husband of the late Misha, loving dad of Jacquie and Karen, father-in-law of James, dearly loved granda of Laura, Beth and Josh and a much loved great-granda, son, brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Aged 74 years. Service and cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium on Friday, 23rd May at 2.00 pm. Peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday 14th May, Hilda of Shap. Beloved wife of the late Bernard, much loved mam of Trevor, Julie, Pauline and Diane, a cherished nana and great nana to her 21 grandchildren, sister to Marjorie and Ben, aunty to Pat and Joyce, and a friend to many. A Service of Thanksgiving will be held at 10.00am on Friday 23rd May at St Michael's Church, Shap, followed by interment at Shap Cemetery. Refreshments will be provided at Shap Village hall after the interment where memories of Hilda can be shared. Peacefully, at home, with her loving husband by her side, on Tuesday, 6th May, Carmen of Hackthorpe, Penrith, beloved wife and soulmate of Paul, much loved mum of Greg, Harlan and Ed, adored daughter of John and Fran, special nana of Indie, Lily and Jackson, sister of Tim and a sadly missed mother in law and daughter in law. Aged 55 years. Service and cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium on Wednesday, 21st May at 11.00am.
