Suddenly, on Saturday, 20^th August, Mark of Alder Road, Penrith, loving partner of forty years of Elaine, much loved and sadly missed brother of Julian, brother-in-law of Susan and uncle of Michael and Dawn. Aged 58 years. Service and cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium on Wednesday, 7^th September at 11.00am. Julia, of Melmerby, Penrith, passed away suddenly at home, on Thursday 18^th August, aged 69 years. Devoted and much loved mum of Ed. Service at St. John the Baptist Church, Melmerby, on Friday, 9th September at 1.30pm. Peacefully, after a short illness at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Thursday, 18^th August, Villy of Parklands Way, Penrith, dearly beloved husband of Edith, much loved dad of Michael, Gillian and Nick and a sadly missed father-in-law, grandad, brother and uncle. Aged 92 years. Private service and cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium. Peacefully, at Croft Avenue Care Home, Penrith, on Wednesday, 17th August, Doreen (formerly of Winskill, Penrith), beloved wife of the late David, loving mam of Keith and the late Susan, mother-in-law of Christine, a much loved grandma of Kevin and Mark. Aged 86 years. Service at St. Peter’s Church, Langwathby on Wednesday, 31^st August at 11.00am followed by interment at Langwathby Cemetery.
