Peacefully, at Home, on Monday, 26th October. Alan of Penrith, formerly of Holcombe Brook, Lancashire, cherished husband of Eva, precious dad of Janet, Sharon and Kelly, father-in-law of Michael, Shaun and the late Peter, grandad of eight, great grandad of four and loving brother of eight (survived by Evelyn and Kenneth).  Aged 82 years.  Private Service and cremation at Carlisle Crematorium on Monday, 9^th November at 11:40 am.  Family flowers only but, if desired, donations for Macmillan Cancer Support, may be left at the Service or sent c/o Richardsons Funeral Directors, Victoria Road, Penrith. After a short illness, borne with incredible courage and dignity, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Tuesday, 20^th October, George of Monnington Way, formerly of Pennyhill Park, Penrith, dearly beloved husband and soul mate of Linda, a treasured father, father-in-law, grandfather and great grandfather of Nicola and Mike, Tyler and Thea, Simon and Debbie, Aaran, Daniel and Tracey, Lacie, Oliver and Archie and a much loved brother and uncle. Aged 70 years. Service and Cremation at Carlisle Crematorium on Friday, 6^th November at 11.00 am (Service will be relayed outside for those wishing to attend). The cortège will leave Monnington Way at 10.10 am pausing at the entrance to Pennyhill Park on the A6 for anyone wishing to pay their respects. Family flowers only. Peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family, after a long illness, on Sunday, 25th October, Frank of Clifford Road, Penrith, dearly loved husband and bestie of Irene, much loved dad of Richard, beloved pop of Daniel and a dear brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. Aged 82 years. Service at St. Catherine's Church, Penrith on Wednesday, 4^th November at 12.00 noon followed by private cremation. The cortège will leave Franks home at 11.50 am travelling onto Castlegate, Brunswick Road, Portland Place and Drovers Lane for anyone wishing to pay their respects. Peacefully, after a long illness bravely borne, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Wednesday, 21^st October. John (Johnnie) of Brackenburgh, beloved husband of the late Doreen, loving father, father-in-law, granda, brother, uncle and a special friend.  Aged 84 years.  Private Service at All Saints Church, Calthwaite followed by burial at Penrith Cemetery. Peacefully, at home on Saturday, 17^th October, Eileen of Lowther Street, Penrith, a sadly missed sister and auntie, she was much loved by all who knew her. Aged 94 years. Service at St. Andrew’s Church, Penrith on Thursday, 29^th October at 11.00am followed by private cremation. Peacefully, at Lanercost House Nursing Home, Carlisle on Sunday, 18^th October, Stanley (Stan) of Netherend Road, Penrith, dearly loved husband of the late Marilyn, a much loved father of Lucy and John. Stan will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. Aged 83 years. The funeral service will be held at St Andrew’s Church, Penrith on Friday 30^th October at 11.30 am, followed by interment at Penrith Cemetery.
