Peacefully, at home. on Sunday, 17^th April, Peter, of Penrith, formerly of Cliburn, beloved husband of the late Ruth, dearly loved dad of Sarah, Rachel and Caroline, father-in-law of Tom and Shaun, cherished Granda Petee to Bella, Molly and Noah, a dearly loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. Aged 82 years. Service at Christ Church, Penrith on Wednesday, 4^th May at 11.00 am followed by interment at Penrith Cemetery. Peacefully at the Cumberland Infirmary Carlisle, on Monday, 18^th April, Patience of Dacre, Penrith, dearly loved wife of Geoff, treasured mum of Sandra, Linda, David and Dawn and a devoted nana to 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She will always be with us and forever in our hearts. Aged 82 years. Peacefully at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Thursday, 14^th April, Jim of Lazonby (formerly of Great Salkeld, Coventry and surrounds and Carlisle) beloved husband of Marian, a much loved son of the late Igor and Mary, a dear nephew, cousin, brother-in-law, uncle and good friend to many. Aged 71 years. Service and interment at St Michael and All Angels Church, Arthuret, Longtown on Friday, 6^th May at 12.30pm. The cortege will leave the family home at 11.45 am. Family flowers only but mourners are invited to bring a flower from their own gardens for the graveside. Suddenly and unexpectedly at home, on Sunday, 17^th April, Keith of Graham Street, Penrith, beloved husband of Carol, much loved dad of Katherine and Gary and his partner Sonia, loving grandad of Ashleigh and Riley, a sadly missed brother and uncle and a very good friend to all who knew him. Aged 74 years. Service at Christ Church, Penrith on Wednesday, 11^th May at 11.00am followed by interment at Penrith Cemetery. Please feel free to wear bright clothes. Peacefully, at Lonsdale Court, Penrith on Tuesday, 19^th April, Nancy beloved wife of the late Guy, loving mother of Carol, Martin, Philip and Julia, mother-in-law of Mike, Paul, Susan and the late Linda, sadly missed Grandmother of Claire, James, Mark, Jane, Matthew, Lisa, Thomas, Rachel Amanda, Dean, Helen and Jessica and great- grandmother of Luke, Ophelia, Ava, Ariana, Oliver, Luca, Matilda, George, Jessica, Isobelle, Joseph, Delilah, Kura, Charlie and Henry. Aged 93 years. Service at St. Lawrence’s Church, Morland on Thursday, 12^th May at 11.30am, followed by interment at Penrith Cemetery. His family would like to thank those who gave assistance and comfort to George in his final moments, in Middlegate, Penrith, on Wednesday 13^th April, in the early afternoon. George, aged 89 years, of Ousby and formerly a farmer near Windermere, was engaged in a routine shopping expedition, when he was taken ill and passed away, with concerned citizens and Paramedics giving him support. Always a problem solver, George would be planning his next move, even in those final moments. His family are grateful for all you did for him. Thank you. George's funeral and interment will be at St Luke's church, Ousby, on Friday, 29^th April at 3.00pm The funeral will be managed by Richardsons Funeral Directors of Penrith and any donations in memory of George which will be divided between St Luke’s Church, Ousby and the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution, for whom George was an active fundraiser, may be made at the Service, or sent c/o Richardsons Funeral Directors, Victoria Road, Penrith, CA11 8HR.
