It is with great sadness that the family of Peter announce his passing after a short illness, on Saturday, 9^th July at the Age of 87. Peter passed away peacefully at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle surrounded by his loving family. A lifelong Penrith resident Peter was a much loved husband of Cathie, his devoted wife of 58 years, father of Vincent, Jenny, and Desmond, granda of Martyn, Aimee and James, father-in-law of Jackie and Rebecca and brother of Pat. Service at St. Andrews Church, Penrith on Wednesday, 27^th July at 11.00am followed by interment at Penrith Cemetery. Peacefully, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Saturday, 9^th July, Peter of Langwathby, Penrith, much loved dad of Kim, Ulla and Alice and a sadly missed father-in-law and grandad. Aged 87 years. Peacefully, at Christian Head Residential Home, Kirkby Stephen, on Thursday, 7^th July, Doreen (formerly of Meadow Croft, Penrith) beloved wife of the late Norman, much loved mother of Shirley, mother-in-law of Steven and a special grandma of Joe. Aged 88 years. Service and cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium on Thursday, 21^st July at 12.30pm. Peacefully, on Tuesday, 5^th July, Mary of West Lane Shap, wife of the late Russell, mother of George and the late Russell and nana of Christopher, Joanne and Paul. Aged 92 years. Service at St. Michael's Church, Shap on Monday, 18^th July at 11.00 am followed by interment at Shap Cemetery. Peacefully, at home on Wednesday, 29^th June, Eileen of Pennyhill Park, Penrith, beloved wife of the late Frank, much loved and cherished mother of Philip, Helen, Judith and Michael, mother-in-law of Karen, Jerry Keith and Nicola and a dearly loved grandmother, great grandmother and auntie. Aged 89 years. Service at St. Andrews Church, Penrith on Wednesday, 13^th July at 1.45pm, followed by interment at Penrith Cemetery. Peacefully, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Monday, 27^th June, Maurice of Greenacres Park, Plumpton, Penrith, beloved husband of Joyce and a much loved father, grandfather and great grandfather. Aged 86 years. Service and cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium on Thursday, 14^th July at 11.00am.
