Unexpectedly, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Saturday, 27^th February, Lol of Old Mill Flatt, Newby, Penrith, dearly loved husband of Marjorie, a sadly missed and much-loved father, father-in-law, grandad, brother, uncle and friend to many. Aged 75 years. Private Service and interment at St. Lawrence's Church, Morland on Monday, 15^th March at 2.00 pm. For those wishing to pay their respects the cortège will leave Old Mill Flatt at 1.30 pm travelling through Newby onto Morland. Unexpectedly, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Thursday, 18^th February, George of Pennyhill Park, Penrith, beloved husband of Ruth, much loved dad of Ian, Tracy and David, adored pop of Tara, Mia, Callum, Emily, Zuzanna and Kai, a dear father-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. Aged 70 years. For those wishing to pay their respects the cortege will leave Pennyhill Park at 1. 15 pm for a Private Service at St. Andrew's Church, Penrith on Wednesday, 10^th March at 1.30 pm. Following the Service the cortege will travel from St. Andrew’s Church into Friargate, along Brentfield Way, Brent Road, Fell Lane onto Beacon Edge enroute to Carlisle Crematorium. Peacefully, at Eden Valley Hospice, Carlisle, on Tuesday, 16^th February, Rosemary of Penrith, dearly beloved wife and ever-present support of Jim, much loved mum of Ruth and Sue and loving gran of Scott, Greg and Jonathan. Aged 79 Years. Private Service at Penrith Methodist Church, on Monday, 8^th March at 2.00 pm followed by cremation at Carlisle Crematorium. Peacefully at the Cumberland Infirmary on Sunday 7th February, George, of Lonsdale Court, Penrith. Dearly loved husband of Anwen, brother to Richard, cherished stepdad of Megan, grandad to Rhys and Owen, and father figure to many. Aged 82 years. Due to current restrictions, the funeral is by invitation only. Suddenly, but peacefully at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Saturday, 13^th February, David John of Friargate, Penrith, deeply loved husband of Margaret, much loved father of Joe and his partner Chloe, and an amazing brother, brother-in-law, uncle and dear friend to many. Aged 55 years. Private service and cremation at Carlisle Crematorium on Friday, 5^th March. For anyone who wishes to pay their respects, the funeral cortege will leave the family home in Friargate at 2.45pm, traveling along Meeting House Lane. Peacefully, at home on, Friday, 12th February following a long and bravely fought battle. Katie of Stainton, Penrith. Aged 24 years.  Dearly loved daughter of John and June, much loved sister to Rebecca, adored niece to Gary, great friend to many and a ray of light to all she met.  Private Service at Carlisle Crematorium on, Friday, 26th February.
