Peacefully, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Tuesday, 12th April, Geoff of Motherby, Penrith, beloved husband of the late Marjorie, brother-in-law of Molly, Dorothy, Sheila and Roger, uncle and a good friend to many. Aged 90 years. Service and cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium on Friday, 29th April at 12.30pm. Parsons, née Richardson

It is with deep sadness, and heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of Laura of Langwathby on Friday 8th April at Appleby Grange nursing home, peacefully after a long struggle with dementia, beloved wife of the late Len, dearly loved mam of Mark, Gail and Clyde and a loving gran. Laura is much loved and will be forever missed by her family, friends and all those who knew her. Service and cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium on Friday 22nd April at 2pm. Winifred (Winnie) of Scales Farm, passed away, peacefully, aged 90 years, surrounded by her loving family, at Cold Springs Park Care Home, Penrith, on Wednesday, 6th April. A much loved mam of Shirley, Brenda, Kathleen, June and Richard, nana Winnie to Andrew, Julie, David, Roy, Mike, Rob and Liam and a sadly missed mother-in-law. Service and interment at St. Kentigern’s Church, Castle Sowerby on Friday, 22nd April at 11.00am. Aged 81 years. Service at United Reformed Church, Penrith on Thursday, 21st April at 12.30pm, followed by interment at Penrith Cemetery. Aged 82 years. Private cremation followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at St. Andrew's Church, Dacre, Penrith on Wednesday, 13th April at 12.00 noon.
