Alan: Peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday 19^th December, Alan of Culgaith, Penrith. A man devoted to his family – wife Cynthia, daughter Caroline, Son-In-Law Andrew and a proud and much loved Grandad to Alana and Keira. A widely respected member of the community and a dedicated Scouter all his life. Aged 80 years. Service and cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium on Monday, 9^th January at 2.00 pm. Peacefully, on Sunday, 18^th December, Isabel (formerly of Caldbeck) beloved wife of the late Teddy, much loved mother of Helen and David and a sadly missed grandmother, great- grandmother and auntie. Aged 94 years. Service and cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium on Friday, 6^th January at 11.00am. Suddenly, at home, on Wednesday, 14^th December, Kathleen (Kate) of Alston, beloved wife of John, much loved mam of Elizabeth and Christopher, dearly loved daughter of Ronnie, sadly missed grandma of Sofia and Haydn, a sister and auntie. Aged 66 years. Service at St. John’s Church, Garrigill, on Thursday, 5^th January at 1.00pm followed by interment at Garrigill Cemetery.  Ryan George, passed away suddenly, whilst attending his usual rugby training session, on Thursday, 1^st December. Aged 34 years. He leaves behind his wife Shiona and his two children Finn and Kenna and is a dearly loved son, brother and grandson who will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. A Service of Celebration for his life will be held at Eden Valley Crematorium, Temple Sowerby, Penrith, CA10 2AN on Friday, 30^th December at 1.30 pm. The Service will also be live streamed to Penrith Rugby Club. Please feel free to wear whatever you feel comfortable in, crocks and socks or Birkenstocks and socks are welcome but anything is ok. The cortège will leave Penrith Rugby Club at 1.15 pm. No flowers by request. The family are so very grateful for all the donations made to the GoFundMe page, however if anyone would like to make a donation please do so to The Fire Fighters Charity as Ryan was a big supporter of their work. Donations can be left at the Service or sent c/o Richardsons Funeral Directors. Lastly, a postcard will be handed out to everyone who attends the Rugby Club or the crematorium. Please write a memory about Ryan or simply your name so that Finn and Kenna can have a memento. Nèe Boustead. Peacefully, at home on Thursday, 8^th December, Joyce of Barkhouse Close, Penrith (formerly of Lazonby) much loved sister of Betty and Peter and a sadly missed auntie. Aged 93 Years. Service and cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium on Friday, 23^rd December at 12.30pm. Lorina: Aged 89 years of Penrith. Peacefully, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Saturday, 10^th December, much loved wife of the late Thomas (Tommy), dear mother of Trevor, Kevin and the late Debbie, mother-in-law of Steph, Corinne and the late Les, loving nanna of Gavin, Dean, Hannah, Megan, Katrina, Gareth, Morgan and the late Callum and eight great-grandchildren. Service and cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium on Wednesday, 21^st December at 12.30 pm. Family flowers only, but if desired, donations which will be divided between British Heart Foundation and Pride of Cumbria Air Ambulance may be left at the Service or sent care of Richardsons Funeral Directors, Victoria Road, Penrith, CA11 8HR.
