Suddenly, on Friday, 31^st March, Edward of Cold Springs Park Care Home, formerly of Clifford Road, Penrith, beloved husband of the late Moria, a dear brother of Margaret and Jean who will be sadly missed by all his family. Aged 84 years. Service at Christ Church, Penrith on Wednesday, 19^th April at 11.00 am followed by interment at Penrith Cemetery. Peacefully, at home on Thursday, 30^th March, David, of Graham Street, Penrith, dearly loved husband of Nancy, much loved father of Peter, Nicholas and Rachel, treasured grandpa of William and Arthur, father- in- law of Kate and Paul and a sadly missed uncle of Sarah, Andrew and John. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at Penrith Hospital, on Monday 13th March, Joan, of Culgaith, formerly of Penrith and Calthwaite, beloved wife of the late Sandy, adored mum of Alistair and Stephen, cherished mother-in-law of Claire and Annika, and much-loved grannie of Ross and Joel. Aged 88 years. Funeral at Eden Valley Crematorium, Temple Sowerby, on Thursday, 6th April, at 2.00pm, to which all friends are warmly invited to attend. Service to be followed immediately by a celebration of both Joan and Sandy’s lives, and their respective music and veterinary careers, at North Lakes Hotel, Penrith, on Thursday 6th April from 4.00pm. Michael died peacefully on Sunday,12^th March 2023 aged 91 years.
