John George, of Frenchfield Way, Penrith (formerly of Ousby). Passed away, aged 96 years, on Sunday, 11^th June, suddenly, but peacefully, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, after bravely fighting a short illness of the lower respiratory system. Much loved husband of Margaret (nee Morton), father of David, Christopher, Richard and brother of David, Vera, Leslie and the late Mary and Eva, grandfather and great-grandfather. Funeral Service at Penrith Methodist Church, on Monday, 17th July at 11.00am, followed by interment at Penrith Cemetery. Limited transport from church to interment and refreshments will be made available. Family flowers only preferred, but if desired, donations in memory of John, will be divided between Ousby Community Centre (formerly John's school) and Prostate Cancer UK. Passed away peacefully, at Brampton Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, 8^th June, James Jonathan (Jimmy) of Abbotts Bank, a well know character of Penrith, beloved son of Sheila and Tony, brother of Alison and brother-in-law of the late Tim. Suddenly, on Thursday, 8th June, at his home, Kazimierz (Kaizer) of Brent Road, Penrith, dearly loved brother, uncle, great-uncle and companion to the late Constance. Aged 75 years. It is with great sadness, we said goodbye to Robert (Rob) of Greystoke, Penrith on Monday, 22^nd May at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, following a short illness, fought with great courage and dignity, dearly loved son of Janice and the late Eddie, much loved brother of Dan and Matty, brother-in-law of Kim and Michelle, loving uncle of Kiera, Oliver and Jacob, sadly missed nephew, cousin and good friend to many. Aged 90 years. Service at St. Andrew's Church, Penrith on Thursday, 1^st June at 12.30 pm followed by private interment at Penrith Cemetery.
