Peacefully, at Kingston Court Nursing Home, Carlisle, on Wednesday, 18^th January, Stan of Penrith, formerly of Keswick, loving husband of Grace, dearly loved dad of John and Paul, a much loved father-in-law, grandad and great-grandad. Aged 85 years. Service and cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium on Monday, 6^th February at 11.00 am. Peacefully, at home on Saturday, 7^th January, Brian Henry (Tyke), of Pategill Road, Penrith, beloved brother of Audrey, Gwen, Sylvia and the late Doreen and a much loved brother-in-law, uncle and great- uncle. Aged 77 years. Service and interment at St. Michael’s Church, Skelton on Friday, 27^th January at 11.30am. Peacefully, at Ravenstone Care Home, Carlisle on Thursday, 12^th January, Gordon, formerly of Milton street, Penrith, beloved husband of the late Marie, much loved dad of Robert and a sadly missed uncle. Aged 92 Years. Service at St. Andrew’s Church, Penrith on Tuesday, 24^th January at 11.00am followed by interment at Penrith Cemetery. It is with deep sorrow to announce that Marianne died suddenly on Christmas Eve. She will be greatly missed by family and friends who love her dearly and will hold her in their hearts. She was living in Norfolk, following spending most of her adult life and raising her children in the Eden Valley. Marianne taught English at Ullswater Community College where she was a much loved colleague and inspiring teacher. Her funeral will take place at The Eden Valley Crematorium at 11am on Friday, 20^th January and all those wishing to pay their respects are welcome.
