It is with deep sorrow to announce that Marianne died suddenly on Christmas Eve. She will be greatly missed by family and friends who love her dearly and will hold her in their hearts. She was living in Norfolk, following spending most of her adult life and raising her children in the Eden Valley. Marianne taught English at Ullswater Community College where she was a much loved colleague and inspiring teacher. Her funeral will take place at The Eden Valley Crematorium at 11am on Friday, 20^th January and all those wishing to pay their respects are welcome. Suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday, 27^th December, Gary of Pategill Park, Penrith, much loved dad of Travis and Owen, dearly loved son of Peter and Shona, treasured brother of Lucy and Penny and a sadly missed uncle. Aged 31 years. Peacefully, in the arms of his family, on Sunday, 1^st January, Geoffrey of Clifton, Penrith, much loved husband of Diane, loving dad of Steven and Amy, father-in-law of Sarah and Rob, grandy of Isla, brother of Andrew, uncle and a great friend to many. Peacefully, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Saturday, 24^th December, Thomas (Tommy) of Threlkeld, Keswick, beloved husband of Kathleen, much loved father of Karen, Gary, Malc and Dawn and a sadly missed father-in-law, grandad, brother and uncle.
