We are sad to announce that Alan passed away peacefully, at home in Penrith, on Thursday, 10^th April. Aged 90 years. Beloved father of Julia, Karen and Mark, and a dearly loved granda, great-granda, great-great-granda and brother. Service at Penrith Methodist Church on Tuesday, 6^th May at 12.30 pm followed by cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium at 2.00 pm. Mary, beloved wife of Tom, of Silverband, Knock, much loved mam of John, mother-in-law of Kath, grandma of Angela and Alan and great grandma of Brody. Aged 93 years. At Eden Valley Hospice, Carlisle, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, 19^th April, Barbara (Jane) of Edenhall and formerly of Ousby, a much loved mother of Joanne and Richard, treasured mother-in-law, gran and sister. Peacefully on Friday 11th April at The Cumberland Infirmary, David of Penrith. Much loved dad of Simon and Samantha, father-in-law of Janice and Efisio, grandad of Amy and Ash, great grandad of Aiden and Elliott, also a sadly missed uncle and a friend to many, aged 90 years.
