Peacefully, aged 70, at home with his loving family, on Tuesday, 1^st February, Richard (Headteacher of St Catherine’s School, 1988-2007) of Chestnut Close, Culgaith, loving husband of Geraldine, much loved dad of Fliss, Lucy and Colette and a sadly missed father-in-law and grandad to his eight grandchildren. Requiem Mass at St Catherine’s Church, Penrith on Wednesday, 16^th February at 12.00noon, followed by cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium. We sadly announce the passing of Steven Keith, of New Market Street, Ulverston on Saturday 22nd January. Aged 63years, Steven was a bright, funny, highly observant and thoughtful man who will be greatly missed. He leaves his son William, mother June, siblings Gary, Andrew, Allison and Ben and numerous nieces and nephews.The funeral service and interment will be held at St. Michael’s Church, Barton, Cumbria, on Friday, 4th February at 2pm. Peacefully, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Thursday, 27^th January, Moira of Penrith, beloved wife of David, much loved mum of Michael and Mark and a loving grandma, great-grandma, sister, sister-in-law and auntie. Aged 79 years. Service and cremation at Carlisle Crematorium on Wednesday, 9^th February at 1.00 pm. Suddenly, at home, on Saturday, 22^nd January, William Douglas (Dougie) of Langwathby, Penrith, a dearly loved dad, grandad and great-grandad. Aged 73 years. Service at Christ Church, Penrith, on Friday, 4^th February at 11.30 am followed by interment at Penrith Cemetery. Peacefully, at Winters Park Care Home, Penrith, Thursday, 27^th January, Thora, Aged 90 years, formerly of Yanwath, Penrith, beloved wife of sixty nine years to Brian, much loved mother of Catherine, Gillian and Jonathon, a devoted mother-in-law, grandma, great-grandma and Val, Thora’s sister in spirit. Thora was a good friend to the Badminton Club, Scottish Country Dancing and to the churches at Barton and Pooley Bridge. Service and cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium on Tuesday, 8^th February at 12.30pm.
