Unexpectedly, at The Freeman Hospital, Newcastle on Friday, 4^th March, Bill of Barco Avenue, Penrith, beloved husband of Ruth, much loved dad of Richard and Matthew and a sadly missed father-in-law and grandad. Aged 80 years. Service and cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium on Friday, 18^th March at 2.00pm. At the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Wednesday, 2^nd March, John of Newbiggin, Penrith, much loved husband of Pamela, father of Jack and Stella, brother of Joan, Alan and Caroline, brother-in-law of Robin, Linda, Maureen and Tim. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Sunday, 20^th February, Mary of Wetheriggs Rise, Penrith, beloved wife of the late John, much loved mam of Linda and Andrew, mother-in-law of Andrew and Alison, loving nana of Luke, Ben, Natasha, Jake and Jed, nana Mary of Jack, Tom and Isabelle and a dear sister, sister-in-law and auntie. It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts, the family of Elaine share the news of her passing away, on Tuesday, 1^st February, she was suddenly taken from us at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle after becoming unexpectedly ill. A modest, strong and determined women, Elaine touched so many individuals, both in her personal and professional lives, she was much loved and forever missed.
