Peacefully, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Thursday, 27^th January, Moira of Penrith, beloved wife of David, much loved mum of Michael and Mark and a loving grandma, great-grandma, sister, sister-in-law and auntie. Aged 79 years. Service and cremation at Carlisle Crematorium on Wednesday, 9^th February at 1.00 pm. Suddenly and unexpectedly at home, on Saturday, 22^nd January, William, Guy of Culgaith, Penrith, beloved brother of Jane and a sadly missed uncle of Sian. Aged 61 years. Suddenly, at home, on Saturday, 22^nd January, William Douglas (Dougie) of Langwathby, Penrith, a dearly loved dad, grandad and great-grandad. Aged 73 years. Peacefully, at Winters Park Care Home, Penrith, Thursday, 27^th January, Thora, Aged 90 years, formerly of Yanwath, Penrith, beloved wife of sixty nine years to Brian, much loved mother of Catherine, Gillian and Jonathon, a devoted mother-in-law, grandma, great-grandma and Val, Thora’s sister in spirit. Thora was a good friend to the Badminton Club, Scottish Country Dancing and to the churches at Barton and Pooley Bridge. Service and cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium on Tuesday, 8^th February at 12.30pm.
