Peacefully at The Freeman Hospital, Newcastle, after a long illness bravely borne, on Wednesday, 2^nd October, Eddie of Appleby (formerly of Martindale) beloved husband of Sarah, dearly loved dad of Alex, a sadly missed brother of Adrian, Paul, Simon and uncle. Aged 54 years. Service and interment at St. Peter’s Church, Martindale on Wednesday, 16^th October at 1.00pm. Peacefully, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Friday, 4^th October, Joan of Penrith (formerly of Newcastle-upon-Tyne), beloved wife of the late George, much loved mam of Pamela and a dear auntie. Aged 91 years. Service and cremation at Carlisle Crematorium on Tuesday, 15^th October at 1.00 pm. Peacefully, at home on, Monday, 30^th September, William (Billy), of Plumpton, loving husband of the late Edna, dearly loved Dad of Carolyn, Liz & Diane, grandad of Ben, James, Matthew & Michelle, great grandad of Kelly and Kieran, and a cherished friend to so many. Peacefully, at home on Thursday, 26^th September, Eileen of Eamont Bridge, Penrith, beloved wife of Malcolm, much loved mum of Helen, greatly missed nanny of Savannah and sadly missed by Eileen’s blue eyed boy Geoff.
