Peacefully, after a long illness, bravely borne at the Eden Valley Hospice, Carlisle, on Thursday, 1st August, Gordon of Catterlen, Penrith, dearly loved husband of Pat and a beloved brother of Raymond. Aged 73 years. Service and cremation at Carlisle Crematorium on Friday, 9th August at 11.40 am. Peacefully, at Charnwood Care Home, Dumfries, on Wednesday, 17th July, Doreen formerly of Lazonby and before that Eccleshill, Bradford, beloved wife of the late Fred, loving mother of Sue and Andrew and families.  Aged 94 years.  Service of thanksgiving at Kirkoswald Methodist Church on Wednesday, 31st July at 12:30 pm.  Family Flowers only, but if desired donations for the British Heart Foundation, may be sent c/o Richardsons Funeral Directors, Victoria Road, Penrith, CA11 8HR.

Peacefully, after a short illness, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Friday, 19th July, Ken of Clifton, a beloved husband, father, father-in-law and grandad of Hope, Mark, Heidi and Ellen. Aged 77 years. Service at St Andrew's Church, Penrith on Tuesday, 30th July at 11.30 am followed by interment at Penrith Cemetery.  Peacefully after a long illness, at The Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Monday, 15th July, Karoly of Little Salkeld formerly of Hungary, a freedom fighter in the Hungarian Uprising of 1956, a cultured man and loving husband of Rosemary.  Aged 82 years. Peacefully, on Tuesday, 9th July, Joseph (Jobby) of Stainton, Penrith, beloved brother of Margaret and Edwin and the late Mary and John and a sadly missed brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle. Aged 85 years. Service and cremation at Carlisle Crematorium on Wednesday, 17th July at 10.20am.
