Sadly, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Thursday, 17^th June, Harold of Clifford Road, Penrith, dearly loved husband of Elizabeth, dear brother-in-law, proud uncle of six nephews and a good friend to many. Aged 83 years. Service at Penrith Methodist Church on Thursday, 1^st July at 2.00pm followed by interment at St. James Churchyard, Temple Sowerby. Peacefully, at home on Monday, 21^st June, Lilian of Robberby Farm, Hunsonby, beloved wife of the late Joseph and a much loved mam, mother-in-law, nana and great-nana. Aged 87 years. Peacefully, at Mary Hewetson Cottage Hospital, Keswick, on Friday, 18^th June, Joan of Culgaith, Penrith, beloved wife of the late Gordon, dearly loved mother of John and Jane, loving granny of Louise, Georgina and Charlotte, mother-in-law of Zoe and Michael and sister of Thel. Private Service and interment at All Saint's Church, Culgaith on Wednesday, 30^th June at 1.00 pm. Gerry, of Park Close, Penrith, passed away peacefully, at home on Tuesday, 15th June, aged 93 years. A true gentleman, he will be greatly missed by all his family and friends who loved him dearly. Requiem Mass at St. Catherine's Church, Penrith on Monday, 28th June at 10.00am, followed by interment, with his late son Bernard at Park Cemetery, Lytham St. Anne's, Lancashire. Aged 85 years. Private Service and interment at St. Andrew's Church, Dacre, on Tuesday, 29^th June at 2.00 pm. The cortège will leave Nellie's home at 1. 45 pm for anyone wishing to pay their respects. Suddenly taken away from us all, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Tuesday 15^th June, Janet of Penrith, formerly of Maryport, dearly loved mam of Neasha, Tanya and Kevin, much loved nana of Ashleigh, Ella, Alfie, Anna and Mae, mother-in-law of Marcus and Rachel and a dear sister, aunt, great aunt, great-great aunt, and friend to many, she will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Aged 73 years. Service at St Catherine’s Church, Penrith on Friday, 25^th June at 10:00 am, followed by burial at Penrith Cemetery. The Service will be relayed outside for any who are unable to access the church due to social distancing rules. Family would like to see all who knew Janet in attendance.
