Peacefully, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Saturday, 8^th August, Eileen Mary (Ei) of Gayle Avenue, Shap, beloved wife of the late Peter, much loved mother of Barbara, Michael and the late David and a sadly missed mother-in-law, gran, great-gran, sister, auntie, cousin and dearly missed friend and neighbour. Aged 73 years. Private Service and cremation at Carlisle Crematorium. Peacefully, at home on Wednesday, 12^th August, Dorothy of Catterlen, Penrith, beloved wife of Kenneth, much loved mam of Stuart, Kirsty and Jemma and a sadly missed mother-in-law, granny and sister. Aged 77 years. A caring, fun loving person, Dorothy will be missed by all who knew her. Private graveside service and interment at St. James Churchyard, Hutton-in-the-Forest. Peacefully, at home on Monday, 10^th August, Kathleen of Sockbridge, Penrith, beloved wife of Colin and a much loved mother of Adam. Aged 83 years. Sadly missed by the community, of which Kathleen was very much a part. Service at St. Michael’s Church, Barton on Friday, 21^st August at 1.30pm, followed by Private Cremation. Private cremation, followed by Service of Thanksgiving at St. Andrews Church, Penrith on Tuesday, 18^th August at 11.30am. David of Long Marton, Appleby passed suddenly, yet peacefully and gently at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Wednesday, 29^th July, aged 73 years. Surrounded by his family and devoted friend and companion Catherine, loving and much-loved dad of Julian and Rachel and Grandad of William, Callum and Andrew.
