Peacefully, at home on Wednesday, 12^th August, Dorothy of Catterlen, Penrith, beloved wife of Kenneth, much loved mam of Stuart, Kirsty and Jemma and a sadly missed mother-in-law, granny and sister. Aged 77 years. A caring, fun loving person, Dorothy will be missed by all who knew her. Private graveside service and interment at St. James Churchyard, Hutton-in-the-Forest. Peacefully, at home on Monday, 10^th August, Kathleen of Sockbridge, Penrith, beloved wife of Colin and a much loved mother of Adam. Aged 83 years. Sadly missed by the community, of which Kathleen was very much a part. Service at St. Michael’s Church, Barton on Friday, 21^st August at 1.30pm, followed by Private Cremation. At the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Friday, 7^th August, Kathleen of Cliburn, Penrith (former speech therapist, MND Visitor and Church Warden at St. Andrews Church, Penrith). Aged 79 years. Private cremation, followed by Service of Thanksgiving at St. Andrews Church, Penrith on Tuesday, 18^th August at 11.30am. David of Long Marton, Appleby passed suddenly, yet peacefully and gently at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Wednesday, 29^th July, aged 73 years. Surrounded by his family and devoted friend and companion Catherine, loving and much-loved dad of Julian and Rachel and Grandad of William, Callum and Andrew.
