Richardson

His family would like to thank those who gave assistance and comfort to George in his final moments, in Middlegate, Penrith, on Wednesday 13th April, in the early afternoon. George, aged 89 years, of Ousby and formerly a farmer near Windermere, was engaged in a routine shopping expedition, when he was taken ill and passed away, with concerned citizens and Paramedics giving him support. Always a problem solver, George would be planning his next move, even in those final moments. His family are grateful for all you did for him. Thank you. George's funeral and interment will be at St Luke's church, Ousby, on Friday, 29th April at 3.00pm The funeral will be managed by Richardsons Funeral Directors of Penrith and any donations in memory of George which will be divided between St Luke’s Church, Ousby and the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution, for whom George was an active fundraiser, may be made at the Service, or sent c/o Richardsons Funeral Directors, Victoria Road, Penrith, CA11 8HR.

Suddenly and unexpectedly, on Monday, 11th April, Eileen of Pele Court, Penrith (formerly of Broadfield, Southwaite) beloved wife of the late John, and a much loved mum, granny and sister. Aged 94 years. Private service and cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium. Nèe Sealby. Peacefully, at home on Friday, 8th April, Greta Eileen of Roman Road, Penrith, (formerly of Greystoke Ghyll), beloved wife of Colin, much loved mum of Mark, Christian and Alyson and a sadly missed mother-in-law, nana, sister and auntie. Aged 80years. Service and interment at St. Andrew’s Church, Greystoke on Tuesday, 3rd May at 10.30am. Birtle

Peacefully, at Brampton War Memorial Hospital, on Friday, 8th April, William (Bill) of Penrith, beloved husband of the late May. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him, including his daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousin, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and all their respective partners. Aged 96 years. Service of Thanksgiving at St. Andrew’s Church, Penrith on Thursday, 28th April at 1.00pm, followed by interment at Penrith Cemetery. Suddenly, at home on Saturday, 9th April, Elsie of Portinscale, Keswick, beloved wife of the late Bill, much loved mum of Bill and Ralph and a sadly missed mother-in-law, nana and great-nana. Aged 89 years. Service and cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium on Tuesday, 3rd May at 2.00pm. Peacefully, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Tuesday, 12th April, Geoff of Motherby, Penrith, beloved husband of the late Marjorie, brother-in-law of Molly, Dorothy, Sheila and Roger, uncle and a good friend to many. Aged 90 years. Service and cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium on Friday, 29th April at 12.30pm.
