Peacefully, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Tuesday, 20th June, Patricia (Pat) of Sand Croft, Penrith, beloved wife of Michael, much loved mam of Adrian and a sadly missed mother-in-law, nanna, sister and auntie. Aged 77 years. Service at St. Andrews Church, Penrith on Thursday, 6th July at 12.00noon, followed by interment at Penrith Cemetery. Please feel free to wear bright clothes. Peacefully, at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, 15th June, Jean of Pategill, Penrith, beloved wife of the late John, much loved mam of Judith, Yvonne, June and Amanda, sadly missed mother-in-law of Paul, Dave, Martin, Richard and the late David, special nanny of John, Stephen, Stacey, Alan, David and Marlena, great grandma of Nathan, Aaron, Alex, Nicholas and Valentina. Aged 91 years. Graveside Service at Penrith Cemetery on Tuesday, 27th June at 11.30am. John George, of Frenchfield Way, Penrith (formerly of Ousby). Passed away, aged 96 years, on Sunday, 11th June, suddenly, but peacefully, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, after bravely fighting a short illness of the lower respiratory system. Much loved husband of Margaret (nee Morton), father of David, Christopher, Richard and brother of David, Vera, Leslie and the late Mary and Eva, grandfather and great-grandfather. Funeral Service at Penrith Methodist Church, on Monday, 17th July at 11.00am, followed by interment at Penrith Cemetery. Limited transport from church to interment and refreshments will be made available. Family flowers only preferred, but if desired, donations in memory of John, will be divided between Ousby Community Centre (formerly John's school) and Prostate Cancer UK. Passed away peacefully, at Brampton Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, 8th June, James Jonathan (Jimmy) of Abbotts Bank, a well know character of Penrith, beloved son of Sheila and Tony, brother of Alison and brother-in-law of the late Tim.
