Passed away peacefully at The Cumberland Infirmary after a short illness on Wednesday 9th April, Alva of Pooley Bridge. Wife of the late Bill, much loved mum of Suzanne and Kevin, mother-in-law of Anne and Oz, dearly loved grandma of Elexis and brother of Roland, aged 91 years. Funeral service to be held at 2.00pm on Thursday 24th April at St Michael's Church Barton followed by interment in the church yard. Family flowers only please. Much loved husband of Ann, loving dad of Pete and Alison, father-in-law of Chris and Ian, grandad pops to Tom, loving brother to Sandra, and a much-loved uncle, aged 75 years. A private committal will take place followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at Wigton Road Methodist Church, Carlisle on Wednesday 23rd April at 12.00noon. Peacefully, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Sunday, 30^th March, Sheila, of Pooley Bridge, Penrith, (formerly of Sale, Manchester), a much loved mum of Christine, and the late Alison, mother-in-law of the late Steve and sister of David. Aged 88 years. Service and cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium on Tuesday, 22^nd April at 12.30pm. Peacefully, at Penrith Hospital, following a short illness, on Thursday, 27^th March, Barbara Mary of Langwathby, Penrith, beloved wife of Alan, much loved mum of Alison, Helen, Claire and Jennifer, grandma of Lewis, Josh, Miguel, Brandon, Poppy, Lucas and Daisy, sister of Muriel and Maureen, also remembered by Malcolm, Mike, Ian, Pauline, Janette, Alan, Dean, Andy, Miguel and Michelle. Aged 73 years. Service at St. Peter's Church, Langwathby on Monday, 7^th April at 2.00 pm followed by interment at Langwathby Cemetery.
