Peacefully, at Penrith Hospital, on Saturday, 4^th April, Helena (Lena) (also known to many as Ma) of Morland, dearly loved wife of the late Fred, mother of Katherine and Pauline, mother-in-law of Geoff, nana of Tony, Jackie, Robert, Christopher, Ellen and their partner’s, great-nana of Isobel, Maizie, Leon, Archie, Charlie and Amy and sister of John. Aged 87 years. Private cremation at Carlisle Crematorium. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Sadly, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Friday, 3^rd April, James (Jim) of the Queens Head Inn, Tirril, much loved husband of Margaret, loving dad of Lynn and Amanda, father-in-law of Nathan and Richard, proud grandad of Zak and Louis and a dear brother and brother-law. Suddenly, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Thursday, 2^nd April, David of Penrith, formerly of Millfield, son of Annie and the late Edmund, brother of Kathleen, much loved uncle of Kerry, Joseph and Rachel, great uncle of Charlie, Rosemary, Benjamin and Annie  and Annie Ayla Rose. Suddenly passed away, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Tuesday, 24th March, after a short illness, dearly loved husband of Dorothy, loving father to Karen, Andrew and the late Michael, dear father-in-law to Liz and treasured grandad to Lewis, Simon, Emma, Danny, Louis and Sam. Bob will be very sadly missed by all family and his many friends. Aged 86 years. Special thanks to nurses Laura and Izzy for all their care and kindness.
