 Peacefully after a long illness, at The Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Monday, 15th July, Karoly of Little Salkeld formerly of Hungary, a freedom fighter in the Hungarian Uprising of 1956, a cultured man and loving husband of Rosemary.  Aged 82 years. A thanksgiving Service will be held at the Quaker Meeting House, Penrith on Friday 26th July at 2pm.  Donations for Parkinson's UK, Eden Support Group may be made at the Service or sent c/o Richardsons Funeral Directors, Victoria Road, Penrith, CA11 8HR.

Todhunter

Peacefully, on Tuesday, 9th July, Joseph (Jobby) of Stainton, Penrith, beloved brother of Margaret and Edwin and the late Mary and John and a sadly missed brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle. Aged 85 years. Service and cremation at Carlisle Crematorium on Wednesday, 17th July at 10.20am.
