Peacefully, at home, after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, 23^rd February, Margaret of Penrith, much loved wife of the late Dr Hugh Barr, a loving and sadly missed mum, granny and great-granny. Aged 91 years. Private cremation followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at United Reformed Church, Penrith on Thursday, 5^th March at 12.00 noon. Peacefully, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Saturday 15^th February, Jean of Cold Springs Park Care Home, Penrith, formerly of Kirkby Thore, loving wife of the late John, beloved mam of the late John, Gary and dear mother-in-law of Michelle.  Aged 86 years. Aged 88 years. Service and interment at St. James' Church, Hutton-in-the-Forest on Wednesday 26^th February at 12.30 pm. Suddenly, but very peacefully at home on Saturday, 15^th February, Brian (JB) formerly of Hallfield Farm, Hesket Newmarket, beloved husband and best friend of Barbara, much loved dad of Andrew and Libby, dear father-in-law of Caroline and a sadly missed granda, great-granda, brother and good friend to many. Aged 82 years. Service and interment at St. Kentigern’s Church, Castle Sowerby on Tuesday, 25^th February at 11.30am. Aged 98 years.
